
In the far north of Norway, well beyond the Arctic Circle, a huge quarry near the town of Kirkenes stands silent, its enormous mechanisms derelict. After all, what further use can such equipment be put to?
Well here's an idea:

Yes, it's true! The bucket from an enormous excavator has been upended and turned into a bus shelter. There is plenty of room inside to shelter from the bitterly cold conditions often to be found here.

And here we see a coach that has dropped off some nutty tourists (which include myself) to view and photograph this curiosity.
