Shetland bus stops - part 1

Here in the Shetland Islands, on the island of Yell, potential bus passengers are treated to the luxury of a gate to their shelter. Rumour has it that this is a means of keeping the bus enthusiasts out.

And, lest you think the first illustration was an unusual curiosity, here is the latest standard in bus shelters provided with a similar appendage.
