
It would appear that buses do not run particularly frequently on the northern island of Unst. I didn't see any at all, actually. On this island it seems to be accepted practice to provide suitable furniture to ensure the wait is not unbearable.

Sections of route away from the main road are provided with more comfortable seating.

Mind you, this old lady seems to have had a long wait.

She seems to have been waiting for "Tammie" (that's Tommy in English) for rather a long time. At least she has the comfort of a chair and Mateus Rosé.
